Capstone children frequently participate in local and global missions opportunities like making things for our teams to take with them on short-term trips or putting together goodie bags for local senior citizens. We desire for our children - no matter the age - to partner with their families and learn to show Compassion to our community and world.
Operation Christmas Child
One of our favorite ways to show compassion is by participating in Operation Christmas Child. Each year, our families shop for and fill shoeboxes with toys and goodies for children all over the globe. The children who receive these small tokens of our love are overjoyed at what is in a little shoebox and the Gospel of Jesus is shared with them! Please consider filling several shoeboxes this year for Operation Christmas Child!
PNO (aka Parents Night Out)
About once a quarter, children are invited to participate in a mission project while parents get a few hours to themselves! At each PNO, children learn a principle from scripture and create an item to give or share with a local or global mission.
