C.L.A.S.S. 101 - Discovering Church Membership
An Introduction To Our Church Family
C.L.A.S.S. 101 covers the topics of salvation, baptism, and communion, along with the purposes, targets, structure, and affiliation of our church. To be "strong," the seminar doesn't need to be "long." It is two hours long and may be taught in either one two hour segment or two one hour segments. C.L.A.S.S. 101 answers the following questions:
- What is church?
- What are the purposes of church?
- What is the vision and strategy of Capstone?
- How is Capstone organized?
- What are the requirements of becoming a member of Capstone?
- How do I get involved in ministry?
C.L.A.S.S. 201 - Discovering Spiritual Maturity
Spiritual maturity, or being like Jesus in all we think, fell and do, is God's design for every believer. The question is, How do we get there from here? God has given us all we need to become all He desires. By learning from the Bible, praying, trusting Him daily, and obeying Him, God will change our lives. As your church family, we want to help you develop both the hunger and habits necessary to become spiritually mature in your character.
Our goal in C.L.A.S.S. 201 is to help you experience the joy of life-changing experiences by teaching clearly what it takes to grow and keep growing spiritually. To do this, we'll take a look at the biblical concepts of learning from God's Word, prayer, fellowship, and giving back to God.
C.L.A.S.S. 301 - Discovering My S.H.A.P.E. for Ministry
Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences
It can be inspirational and exciting to think about how God can use your talents, personality, and gifts for the benefit of others. Through the S.H.A.P.E. process you'll learn how God can use your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences to minister to others in need.
First, God gave you a special ability when you started following Him. We call this a spiritual gift. God gives you this gift to build up your church family and reach out to the world with Christ's love. Second, God gives you a unique passion for particular activities, subjects, and circumstances. God uses those things you feel deeply about to show you where you can serve without quickly burning out. Third, you have abilities given to you before you accepted Christ. Those abilities will help you in ministry. Fourth, God has placed a multitude of experiences in your life to help mold you for ministry. God can use many of your life experiences to help heal hurts in your community and in your world.
